This policy explains what information we handle when you use the ChocoX website and products, and how we look after it. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to sell and support our tools.

What we collect

• When you buy: your email address and name, collected by Stripe at checkout, so we can send your download link and keep a record of the sale.
• When you contact us: your message and any details you choose to include, so we can reply and provide support.

Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.

Your recipes stay on your computer

The Shelf-Life Predictor runs on your own computer. The recipes you type in and the predictions it produces stay on your machine — they are not sent to us, and the program does not need an internet connection to work.

Download links

After payment we email you a download link, and show it on screen. The link is time-limited and tied to the product you bought. We keep a record that a sale happened (date, product and the email used) so we can re-send a link if you need it.

Support information

If you send screenshots or files for support, they may contain your own information. Please send only what you are comfortable sharing for support purposes.

How long we keep information

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to support your purchase and to meet our legal and accounting obligations. Support messages are kept only as long as useful for support.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Contact us using the contact page.

Cookies

The website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and for secure checkout with Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies as part of processing your payment.
